On the comedy side of the TV spectrum, honest Sphere winner “Modern Family” will duke it out against “Glee,” “Lucky Endings,” “The Huge C” and “Exes and Ohs.” Another “Glee”-related program, “The Glee Project,” is up for Outstanding Reality Program along with “Dancing With the Stars,” “Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys,” “The Real L Word” and “The Voice” (which returns on February 5).

Audiences expect to see their own worlds reflected in media, and today more than ever, those contain the lives of LGBT people. Viewers know that LGBT characters and tales are simply natural extensions of, and glimpses into, their own experiences from across America.”
